Grandpa vs. Shrink Wrap

Grandpa vs. Shrink Wrap

On Christmas day Grandpa was opening a calendar for left handers. The shrink wrap was, as usual, a struggle to break into. Be assured he eventually won out!

Outhouse

An outhouse in Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park in British Columbia. Andy and I spent Labor Day weekend there (not in the outhouse...in the park).

View from the Outhouse Window

From Andy's and my Labor Day weekend trip to Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park in British Columbia. The view is of Kokanee Lake. And, yes, we did choose the location because it had the same name as beer.

42nd Street Ballroom

42nd Street Ballroom

That's the title of this "audio-kinetic" sculpture. It's in a glass walled cube. It's made up of rails that carry pool balls through the air, and through different contraptions, like in a marble run toy. Some of the contraptions made sounds, too. Bells, chimes, and whistles all get activated by the passing balls, or by the Rube Goldberg type machines that the balls did start off.
