Today we visited the Rose Garden at Manito Park. We felt this was an

unusually beautiful and unique rose.

Our old rose bush is beginning to bloom. It will be beautiful as these early flowers already are. The will be gone in a couple of weeks.

This year this bush has beautiful round white flowers. I don't remember it ever blooming before. Flowering trees in Spokane seem to be blooming more than ever.

I just applied a "negative" effect to a photo that I had taken a while back and this is what I got. I think it looks pretty cool. You can see the original photo here.

Under Construction

Construction on the Monroe Street Bridge is supposed to be done some time in October.

Chrysler Building

This photo from my Christmas trip to New York just passed up the sunset picture as the most viewed pic on my Flickr account. It is a picture of the Chrysler Building taken from the Empire State Building.

New Diner

A new diner being created near Spokane, WA. According to news sources
the rail car was carried across town by two cranes. It is located on
the Newport Hwy. (U.S. 2).
